WQED's Documentary, The Great Ride. the C&O Canal and the Great Allegheny Passage

This destination features two connecting trails: the C&O Canal Towpath, which spans 184.5 miles from Washington, D.C. to Cumberland, Maryland, and the Great Allegheny Passage, which covers 150 miles from Cumberland, MD to Pittsburgh, PA. Cyclists from around the world enjoy 335 uninterrupted miles of breathtaking scenery and rich history. Viewers of this documentary will accompany a diverse group of cycling tour guides, each of whom will take us through a different section of the trail.
